new potatoes with cream sauce
I am cooking for my daughter's backyard wedding this Sat. I bought 25 lbs. of Yukon Gold potatoes. Can anyone tell me how much cream sauce do I need to prepare for that amount of potatoes. Thank you very much.
This will serve about 80 people and I would do about 7 quarts of cream sauce.
Yum new potatoes with cream sauce sound yummy! Where might I find the recipe. Of course it would be for just 6 people. Thank you!
Hmm. Steam or boil the potatoes, butter them up. Add the medium cream sauce (butter, flour, milk/cream), 2 tablespoons flour per cup of milk2-3 pounds of potatoes, about 3 cups of sauce.
