I am planning on cooking for 170 and in which 30 are children, i am wondering how many pounds of meat is required to have enough for everyone, as well how many pounds of salad and potatoes. Also vegetables i don't know the amount needed. I have set in mind that i can have this done with alot of help but i would like to be able to give them some directions in the amount needed so i make sure we have extras instead of not enough.

Melissa, use the tables for 100, and make 1 1/2 times the amount for 100 plus 10% to feed 140 adults and 30 children. If you want to post your estimate and menu after you do it, I will review it for you.
