For a 100 person buffet, how many cans of #10 canned green beans would I need to purchase ( all men eating at buffet)?

It takes about 5 cans. Canned green beans by themselves are not too popular, take a look at ellens better green bean casserole in the holiday cooking section at the top of big pots and make 1 1/2 times the recipe. Or get 4 cans of beans and 1 of tomato pieces in juice, fry up 3 pounds diced onions, drain the beans, and simmer beans tomatoes and onions all together for a while.
