I was watching I believe it was the today show on Thanksgiving and they were making a turkey They cut it in half and put in roaster with all kinds of differant herbs and they said that it cut the roasting time in half and the turkey was very moist. Can you give me the directions and the herbs that they used to do this??? Have been looking everywhere and can't find it. Thank You and Merry Christmas

This is called a "spatchcocked turkey". Here is a pretty good website:
thebittenword.typepad.com/thebittenword/2009/11/thanksgiving-2009-roast-spatchcocked-turkey.html
All turkeys are more moist when cooked in an electric roaster- it is the nature of the appliance to cook moist.
