Stainless steel cookware - possible danger?

I have several stainless steel pots by Tivoli and Emeril. Some of them have small black spots on the bottom inside the pot. Knowing that most of these have aluminum bottoms for better heat dispersion, should I worry that the black spots are holes through the stainless and now they're leaking aluminum into my food? The spots cannot be cleaned and seem to be very shallow craters ~1/8th of an inch wide and about a hair deep (very shallow).

Most Tivoli is enamel over rolled steel, which could make the spot oxidation/ rust... Stainless? Can't speak to either Tivoli or Emeril pots.
