I am helping host a 50th anniversary party for 50 people. We plan to have 50 chicken breasts, 25 legs, 25 thighs, 25 wings. We are also serving BBQ meatballs. How many pounds of meatballs should we get? Thanks!

About 3 ounces per person (10 pounds) is plenty, as these will be treated as an hors douvres. You will have chicken left over.

You need about 17 pounds for one serving per person, depending on what else is added. I would make 20-22 if it is self serve.

That is about what I would use, with 10% extra for seconds/ heavy eaters.
