makes about 3 cups
This flavors tofu, wheat meat/ seitan, vegetarian gravies and broths.

2 cups Kal or Red Star VSF (tasty) nutritional yeast flakes
2 tablespoons salt
1 teaspoon dry, ground ginger
2 teaspoons turmeric
2 teaspoons black pepper
2 teaspoons marjoram
2 teaspoons tarragon
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons rosemary
4 teaspoons sage
4 teaspoons celery seed
4 teaspoons thyme
4 teaspoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons onion powder
OR substitute approximately 1/2 teaspoon asfoetida for the onion and garlic powder

You can make this in a one gallon zippered plastic baggie. Grind the herbs and crush the pepper and celery seeds, mix with the salt. Combine with the yeast and shake or stir. This will keep at least one month in an airtight container.
