We are having a reunion dance and plan on offering beer, water and soft drinks. We are having heavy hors d'oeuvres catered but are furnishing the drinks. Could you tell us a reasonable quanity to buy of each beverage? We sure want to be responsible and not have everyone sloshed.
Thanks

Good thinking, as in some states even private party givers are legally liable for the auto mayhem of drunken guests.

I have a beverage planning page that will help you with this, remember that it is for a 2-3 hour party and you should increase about 1 drink per person per hour for over 3 hours. Consider some of the fruit-flavored sparkling waters- very festive.
