First may I say thank you - your site is amazing and an asset to any want-to-be caterer, or person who likes to do it themselves to save $$ (and make it personal!) I am having a surprize party for my big brother in a month. 100 or so hungry guests - I ALWAYS try to do EVERYTHING myself, with no time to visit or have fun - So trying to use the KISS principal - I am thinking of getting a pig roast (done and set up at the party delivered) But have lots of vegetarian guests. Thinking of flying in some grouper or just getting some cod at the store - QUESTION: How can I cook fish for a crowd without manning an oven or grill? Can it be done in a nesco slowly? Any other ideas for fish - all the dishes I need have to be able to be sone ahead, OR set up around 3 p.m. in a nesco for dinner at 6 - Thank you! |

Hi, Amy, Lots of vegetarians don't eat fish. How about a vegetarion lasagna? Fish for a crowd would be baked, say in the Nesco with chunky tomatoes, peppers and mushrooms. |

Ellen - thanks for thinking of the people who are full vegetarians (i.e. don't eat fish). I don't know how many times I have been served fish as my "vegetarian" entree. |
