Vanessa, all these foods are covered in the planning sections, plan for 100, ellens kitchen beverages, and the appetizers section. The amount depend in part on how long the party is, whether it is over a mealtime and whether there are desserts, chips and dips, etc. Also what your cooking and refrigeration plans are and what help you will have. You need to try to make estimates and post them and then I will be glad to check them for you. You should also read my article on self-catering your wedding or food event- this is a very large party even for an experienced planner. You can also email me using the link at the bottom of this page that says "updates". |

I am serving pull apart pork via whole boneless tenderloin. I was going to mix barbeque sauce with it but decided to just serve pork and have a heated container of Mongomery Inn Sauce as well as other condiments. How much meat do I buy. From what I have read, the ole quarter pound per person isnt going to work. I am also serving baked beans, sea leg salad, veggie pizza, veggie tray and pop, coffee and bottled water as well as the cake. I just need to get the tenderloin real soon. Help me please. I am expecting about 70 but not sure. Just need to know how much per person that would help. Thanks. |

Jenny, 1) the info you request is ALREADY POSTED on the plan for 100 page 2) this is a voluntary page where I do for free what people pay up to $150 per session for. When I am working 3 or 4 12 hour shifts in a row, sonmetimes it takes a little time to get to it. Don't be rude. Ann, a fruity tropical punch with guava juice, apricot juice and pineapple juice with ginger ale would be great. See the punch thread for recipes and links. Pam, For pulled pork I like shoulder, for the sliced tenderloin you want 2 pounds raw for 5 people for generous party buffet service. You could probably go to 2 pounds for 6 with those nice sides. |
