Pre-making hushpuppies

04/28/07 		I am having friends over for dinner this evening, at about 5:30 (in 3 hours). I would like to have as much done as possible before they get here. If I go ahead and make our hushpuppies (new recipe and I want to have time to try something else if these fail) would they still be yummy and crispy on the outside, or would they become soft on the outside and rubbery in the middle??

04/29/07 		Sorry, I don't generally check more than 2 times a day- missed your deaqdline. As you learned if you tried it, deep fried things don't sit well...
