| Cecilia 03/01/07 | After baking the swissroll or spongecake, either i immediately take out fr the oven to let it cool or even sometimes i left it in the oven.  Both ways i tried but the cake result shrunk.  Kindly advise what i did wrong here?  I followed the exact receipe, temperature, etc.. I tried everything but still no improvement. Pls help!! tks | 
| ellen 03/03/07 | It will shrink a bit, but if a lot, it may be overcooked. You r oven may run hot, or you may have a thinner layer due to a larger pan. Try lower the temp 25 degrees and/or a smaller pan. Keep at it! |
