what is the easiest way to prepare black tea for a group of 150? the event is a come and go over 3 hours. Please provide portions for water and tea as well as the most economical way to buy the tea. Thanks for a wonderful site! |

Buy your tea loose in bulk at Whole Foods or in 1 pound boxes at any Middle Eastern or Indian grocery. Make concentrate (6 times as strong) ahead, add 1 cup of concentrate to 5 cups boiling water to make a pot.
The recipe is way down on this page: By the way, for 150 people, I would make 2 or three different kinds of tea, plus one hot water pot with bagged herbal and decaf teas. |
