Ham dinner for eight people

12/12/06 		I am planning a Christmas dinner for eight people. Ham plus all the fixings. What should I have for the ham and the fixings?

12/13/06 		Rita. take a look at the holiday cooking section, where I outline in detail the many choices for "fixings" and amounts per person in the shopping section. A spiral bone in ham is easy to reheat in a cooking/roasting bag. You want at least a 5 pound ham- no leftovers- but I would go for 8 or more myself- like to have plenty and some leftovers.
You can make a simple glaze/rub for the ham by mixing dark brown sugar and Dijon mustard to a paste, then pat all over the ham.
