I want to make individual filo dough tart shells for chicken salad. I don't have and couldn't find small ready-made tart shells nor could I find small emough baking pans. I want the shells to be about 5-6 inches in diameter. I don't have jumbo muffin tins - and I'm trying to avoid another trip out to a store! Any ideas on what I can use? Can I use small inverted glass bowls to bake the shells? |

You absolutely can use oven proof glass bowls or custard cups inverted to make your shells, just use plenty of nonstick spray before draping/shaping the filo. |
