This is a great theme, and the selection depends on your tatstes and budget. The side dishes are most traditional, mac and cheese, rice, greens, green beans, possibly broiled or stewed tomatoes; summer squash casserole; sweet potato casserole or sweet potato pi; good biscuits and rolls. You might have 2 entrees such as chicken and dumplings and ham or roast pork, you might want ribs- although these are very messy for a wedding- or you might go with baked or fried chicken and gravy. You will want corn bread and biscuits. It depends a lot on the kitchen, the cooks, how much you will have catered in and what you want to make yourself.

If it is a morning wedding you can also go with a brunch; cheese grits and grillades (top round simmered in tomato gravy), biscuits and sausgae gravy, eggs, etc.
