Having a communion catered in. Will have 2 4foot heros,1 1/2 trays of caesar salad,1full tray of chicken franc., 1 full tray of chix marsala, 2 full trays of saus & pepper, 2 full trays of rigatoni ala vodka, 1 full tray of mashed pot., 1full tray of grilled vegies. Will I have enough? There will be approx. 60 people with about 10 little kids and 10 preteen-teens included in the 60 people. We will have dips, cheese crackers etc. to start and plenty of desserts. Should I order more trays of food? Oh and there will be servers dishing out the food if that makes a difference.. Thank you |

The caterer who is making the food will tell you how many servings they count for each tray. Your 2 heros alone are about 35 servings. You want servings for 50 as the little kids don't count as a full person, so it looks like plenty- I do not know what is considered a full tray where you are- you want about 1 1/2 pounds of food total per person. The only hing that might be a bit short is the vegetables. Having people serving definitely cuts down the amout of food- about 10%! You |
