| christy 01/24/15 | We are planning a outdoor wedding for 200. we will smoke and freeze one 125 lb dressed pig and 50 lb pork butt. then reheat the day off. we are also smoking a 125 hog the day of for meat and atmosphere. we are serving 4 light appetizers, pinwheels, crab dip and small shrimp cocktails for 1 hour. with the pork we are serving fresh fruit, Hawaiian slaw, seafood pasta, and mozzarella pasta salad, along with bread and cake. 
do I have enough meat?  should we add grilled chicken? if so how much? Hawaiian slaw made with 7 pkg of 14 ounce of slaw, 11 ounce mangrine oranges, 20 pineapple do I have enough???? thanks for any input and suggestions. |

This is actually too much; you only need about 300 pounds total. Suggest you cut the "day of" to a piglet or small pig. Suggest you add a crock pot of vegetarian sausages such as "Field Roast", an excellent brand for the non-meat eaters 
fresh fruit,  
a dozen kiwi for color garnish Hawaiian slaw, you need 5 gallons, usually about 16 pounds cabbage for plain slaws- not clear with the pineapple, so figure the volume 
seafood pasta, 10 pounds at least 
bread, 24 pounds, butter 5 pounds |
