I'm catering a graduation party for 200 people. The family is providing the meat: hamburgers, hot dogs and Italian Sausage with Peppers and onions. I will be preparing salt potatoes, macaroni salad with tuna fish, pasta salad, baked beans, baked ziti with hamburg and sausage and rosa marina salad. I'm not sure of the quanties due to the number of options they want. I know I don't want 200 servings of each side dish, how do I estimate the number of servings with the varity of side dishes |

baked ziti with hamburg and sausage, use the mozzarella bake on the spaghetti page for quantity guide, do 1 recipe worth
salt potatoes, about 60 pounds medium size
macaroni salad with tuna fish, baked beans, 6 gallons, consider making some meatless. With 200 guests, there will be vegetarians. rosa marina fruit salad- you want about 1 pound pasta per 30, or about 7 gallons If this is a paid gig, please make a donation, maybe a dime per guest, to support this site. Thanks. |

I'm in a similar situation only for about 50 guests. The menu is chicken pot pie, baked ziti, veggie platter, fruit platter, meat and cheese platter and tossed salad/rolls. Do I make 50 servings for each platter??? Thanks so much! LOVE this site and will happy to donate! :) |

chicken pot pie, about 4o servings, 4 9x13 meat and cheese platter, cold cuts, about 7 pounds, some left; about 3 1/2 pounds sliced cheese baked ziti, 4 pounds dry pasta, about 1 quart sauce per pound, 1/2 to 1 pound cheese per pound
veggie platter, do for about 40, veggie tray page tossed salad, use 1/2 the amount for any of the salads for 100 on the plan for 100 page
rolls, 2 small (about 3 ounces) per person If saves you time, trouble, or money, please make a donation, maybe a dime per guest, to support this site. Thanks. |

Thank you! Should I use less pasta if I include a tray of meatballs? Will definitely support site - it's very helpful :) |
