| Ashonti 03/11/14 | I have gotten myself into something by agreeing to do this party... Its a fashion show and Im asked to put together Passed Horderves for 75... Do you have any recommendations for quick, elegant and simple recipes? And also how much food do I need? Thank you!!! |
| ellen 03/11/14 | This need to be not drippy and rather elegant. What kind of budget? To figure how much, I also need to know when it starts and how long it lasts, as well as what will be drunk. |
| Ashonti 03/11/14 | My budget is $200 or so for 50-75 people... Also I wrote you in the feeding 300 form for a aids walk for 300... I would love any help and be glad to make a donation! Thank you! |
| ellen 03/11/14 | Ashonti, I answered the creole pasta question already- tough menu for that event- as I suggested, walking burritos or tacos would be a simpler choice. If you make some of the items yourself, you can do pretty well. Typical here would be crostini and bruschettas; stuffed mushrooms or figs, tiny stuffed tomatoes or new potatoes, maybe spinach Parmesan squares from this site. Really good large olives. Bacon-wrapped anything.
Have a look at these sites: www.marthastewart.com/274748/cocktail-party-hors-doeuvres/@center/276959/cocktail-hour www.thenibble.com/reviewS/main/hors/index.asp Hope this helps. |
