| orcid kaminski 12/10/13 | Hello, we are having our anual xmas party..however how much do i cook for 70 people? Thank you I was thinking meatballs, baked ziti lasagna sausage and peppers anything else please let me know thank you! Orchid Kaminski! |
| ellen 12/10/13 | Hi, Orchid, Assuming you are doing this over a mealtime, about a 3 hour party, 70 people. I would skip the baked ziti.
meatballs, 1 pound per 5; 3-4 quarts sauce per 10 pounds Add REALLY good bread. I would use baguette type so people could make meatball or sausage sandwiches if they wish. 10-12 pounds Add tray of sliced cheese, provolone, 5-6 pounds. Have about 2 pounds of good shredded Parmesan or Reggiano.
baked ziti lasagna
DO a nice fruit tray, see the fruit tray page. Do a relish tray (top of the veggie tray page)with peppers, olives, etc, or an antipasto selection. There are antipasto veggies on this site- you need about 2 1/2 gallons. |
