I have a rival 18 qt elec roaster and saw your post on where to find recipe for Nesco but no luck All I need to know is how long to cook a double batch of mrs cubbisons struffing in the elec roaster |

Preheat to standard temp for oven baking. Use the rack under the pan. Same time or up to 15 o minutes less. If it gets to 165 at the center before ready to serve, turn roaster down to 180 to hold. |

The box says 45 mins in 350 oven. Not nearly long enough. Last year I think I cooked it 3 hours, too crispy on the bottom, so thought I would try 2 hours instead. What do you think? No rack just the pan inserted into the roaster. Good to know about the 165 degree. thanks what do you think about t hours |

You will get crispy on the bottom if you don't put a rack on the bottom of the roaster. A cake rack will work if the original has gone south. 2 hours for the larger amount sounds OK. |

Ok, I think I got it. The rack goes between the removal pan and the bottom of the roaster. Correct? Thanks so much. This Ellen site is awesome. I have been through so many weird sitelooking for an answer. Happy thanksgiving |
