We just made a roaster full of BBQ pork with sauce. I think we have plenty so I can freese the extra. How much pork do I need for 50 people? And what temp and how long do I need to reheat? |

If making sandwiches, 1 pound makes 5 sandwiches, and a mixed crowd eats about 1 1/2 per person. When frozen, thaw overnight in the fridge, then reheat tightly covered in the oven at 300-325, or on the stove top. The time depends on the amount. You use a roaster, you need to get it to 165 before serving. Allow at least an hour, but check sooner- if it gets to 165, turn oven back to 180 to hold. |
