Hello Ellen, I will be cooking a Roast beef dinner for church with mashed potatoes , gravy, string beans almondine and corn. we will be using bottom round beef, we wanted to use fresh string beans and potatoes any suggestions would be greatly appreciated |

To make this a good roast beef, it needs to be cooked low and slow- some people pot-roast in in moisture, some dry roast it, but in either case, LOW temp, or it is tough. I would pot roast it.
