I am excited about finding your recipes, especially the okra recipes. Of course, okra isn't always available, so I was wondering if one can freeze the okra for later use in your recipes, and if so, what is the best way to do this. Thanks! |

Yes. get small ones. Blanch in boiling water 1-2 minutes until bright green, then plunge into ice water. Freeze loose on cookie trays, then transfer to freezer bags, press out all the air. Best for 3-6 months. |
