Hosting grad party for 200. Menu for dinner buffet includes meatballs 20 lbs, pork 25 lbs, fried chicken 100 pieces, rice 15 lbs, pasta 8 lbs, spring mix salad 10 lbs. I will also have appetizers of mexican dip, spinach dip and 200 pieces of spanakopita as well as a fruit platter. do you think this is enough? |

Maria, both high school and college students are big eaters and if I were doing this menu as a dinner for 200, I would do quite a bit more; in fact, just about double, except the rice, 20 pounds about right for that. The dips are 1/4 cup each per person, 1 pound chips per 8-10. The fruit is several platters, see the fruit tray page. |

its 146 adults, 25 high schoolers, 33 children 3 -15. do you still think i need to double everything. party starts at 6 p.m. I also have about 8 lbs of stuffed grape leaves and 8 lbs of green beans. |

Yes, Maria, I do think your menu is very light; the teens/high school age kids balance out the little ones. 8 pounds of green beans is good for about 35 people. |
