Hi I just discovered this wonderful site. I'm catering my first big gig for 500ppl Mardi Gras. Menu: bourbon chicken skewers,corn bread, collard greens, mustard grilled tilapia, gumbo, and crawfish cakes. My budget is negative now, how can I cut cost? and how much food do I need. Also I'm using a gumbo mix and just adding the meat. I really need help. I'm also supplying the flatware. |

chef2chef.com Catering fees are generally 3-4 times the cost of the food. This menu would be at least $21 per person. |
