Cook Top Cleaning

Any suggestions on which type is easier to clean, stays looking nice longer? I am looking at a GE Profile which is smooth and shiny or a KitchenAid which has white flecks they describe as subtle watermark.
Thank-you!

They are both very difficult to keep looking nice! The flecked one may be a bit more forgiving. You MUST clean your pans inside and out every time you cook, including before the first time, and you MUST clean the cook top every time you use it. See the several threads about these tops before you decide.

Thanks! I am considering a Wolf brand - quite a bit more expensive but seems much nicer and I am wondering if it is more forgiving as far as cleaning, or is that wishful thinking?

No one has posted about these. Wolf restaurant type ranges are wonderful, but I have only used gas. If you get the black top/grids/grills, it helps...
