Hi, Quick answer: we're just getting a bit more experienced with web formats and wanted to offer a place to share those great questions and suggestions the readers have been sending to Ellen. Take a look at this great little hint from a reader: "I put soy sauce and seasonings for tofu in a ziplock bag, then marinate the tofu in the refrigerator. When I take it out, I put the ziploc in the freezer until the next time I want to marinate tofu.' Now we have a place to put hints like this. Long answer: an attempt to do a little service. I love pickles, but find them too crunchy and too salty, so, I boil them straight from the jar, juice and all. Test with fork for desired tenderness and put back into jar and into refrigerator. Added Plus, some salt removed as well. |
