I am serving a breakfast buffet for 200 teenagers and am having problems with figuring out how much liquid to buy. We are planning on having milk, chocolate milk, orange juice and apple juice. They will be serving themselves and will be allowed to get as much as they want. Any tips would be a great help! |

Think about adding coffee and hot water for tea, older teens drink this. Allow 1 full cup of juice per person, I use 2/3 orange. Allow 1 cup milk per person, but get 2%, few teens use whole milk. Get some frozen concentrate so you can make extra juice if needed. Your local highschool cafeteria could help with amounts. |

I am a bit confused, should I plan on juice and milk for each student? I was planning on coffee and tea for the adults, I will make a bit more than I had originally planned. Thanks for your help. |

Alow juice for each person, then milk for half. |

Here is what really happened. There were 207 people at the overnighter. They actually drank 2.5 gallons of orange juice, 2 gallons 2% milk, 3.5 gallons chocolate milk, 2.5 -96 ounces containers apple juice, 2- 64 ounce containers of grape juice. We also made 8 -12 ounce pots of coffee (1 decaf, 3 french vanilla, and 4 regular). We put out 4 gallons of ice water also. There was pop leftover from the night before and about 5 2 liters were finished that morning. I juct thought you might want to know how it worked out. Thanks for your help. |

Hey thanks for the feedback! I assume you meant 8 12-CUP pots of coffee. 6&1/2 gallons of juice, 2&1/2 gallons soda, 5&1/2 gallons milk. Looks like the milk came out about right. The amount of coffee and soda probably affected your juice use. |
