I would get a two burner hot plate. Do you have a microwave? Are you cooking for a regular size family? Spaghetti for a family can be done in a microwave... |

No, I am one of the very few people who don't have a microwave, nor do I have any hot plates. I am hoping to cook spaghetti for about 20 teenagers, but I won't have a new stove for probably a week. |

May I suggest you try a different dish such as stew or chili with good bread, which will be easier to manage in the roaster? |

Thanks, Ellen. I've changed the menu, I'll be cooking chili in crock pots! Much easier than my original menu plan. |
