Also I have a recipe for Lord Charleys Corn Chowder. The liquid ingredients are 5 C Chkn stock and a qt of 1/2 1nd 1/2. We eaten it many times...but I'm making it for a civil war reenactment for about 35 people. Any suggestions to make it more cost effective? Use milk instead of 1/2 and 1/2?
