Old Bisquick Recipe

08/10/10 		I am looking for a recipe called "Apple Crunch Bake" I think (it had bake in the title) it was so delicious...it came from a little Blue Covered bisquick cookbook, know where i can get the recipe??

08/11/10 		It is probably one of the 3 blue bisquick cookbooks currently on sale on EBay- enter "bisquick cookbook" in the search and then look through the many offerings.

Apple Crunch Bake

Ingredients for apple mixture:
5-6 baking apples, sliced
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cloves
dash of salt
Ingredients for Topping:
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup Bisquick
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Mix Together: apple slices, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, and salt. Arrange sliced apple mixture into 13 x 9 inch greased baking pan.

Combine brown sugar, Bisquick, butter, and pecan, then sprinkle over apples. Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Server warm.
