pork butts

05/14/09 		hi ellen. what a great site. found you yesterday looking for a recipe for pork butts. i just bought a 22qt rival electric oven rosater and i am going to make to pork butts for a gathering this week end.. any info on amount of time ect each butt is approx 5-7 lbs. thanks in advance.

05/14/09 		Pork butts cook like chuck roasts, so look at the beef roasting page for help. If you want a roasty texture, as opposed to moist for pulled pork, etc, you need to leave some space betwwen each roast and be sure to preheat the roaster for 20 minutes.
