Wedding Dinner for 150-175

For my son's wedding in late October, we are planning the dinner. So far, the menu includes veggie & dip tray and crackers & cheese tray for guests to nibble until the dinner of turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, macaroni & cheese, broccoli, and perhaps another veggie is served. Can I use the BIG POT chart to determine how much to buy and prepare? Any other ideas?

Since you have picked the classic holiday dinner, I suggest you go to the holiday cooking section at the top of the big pots section, read the planning and shopping section, and use that to plan. The plan for 100 lists will work, but that article is more specific to that meal. Also read through the dialogue in the thread below:

Wedding Reception Menu Ideas

The Dijon wedding chicken holds better and is easier to prepare and reheat than roasted turkey.
