Pancake Supper

We're planning a pancake supper for 600. Can you help estimate how many pounds of bulk sausage we need to buy - 3 pancake and 3 sausage patties per person. Thanks.

See the breakfast planning page. Consider some turkey sausage also, not everyone eats pork.

By the way, be sure to have sugar free syrup. It would also be a good idea to offer fruit only adds about 50 cents per person to the cost (which is about 1.50 per person before the fruit, not counting coffee). Here are more ideas:

Menu Suggestions:

# Pancakes
# Ham (Easiest meat to prepare ahead of time.)
# Bacon
# Sausage
# Turkey Sausage Links.
# Fruit or Fruit Salad (1/2 cup per person)
# Flavored Syrups
# Coffee
# Tea
# Juice (CAN PRE-POUR 1/2 CUP PER PLACE/ PERSON)
# Butter (also a lower cholesterol butter alternative)

Basic Suggestions:

# Keep things fun and relaxed.
# Use Dinner Size napkins. (Pancakes are messy).
# Ease the Diet Conscious or those who have special diets and can't or won't indulge in pancakes covered with syrup. Have low carb and no sugar syrup available. Adding some fruit in your menu provides an alternative to pancakes only. You could even try making a few pancakes with whole wheat or low carbs.
