Hi Ellen, I back with another question. I now am making a Broccoli/Cauliflower Salad and Macaroni Salad for 800 people to go with pork chops. How many pounds of pasta would you suggest. I will be making 30 loaves of bread and 38 doz rolls. Help! I dont want to make too much or too little pasta. Can you give me any advice? I have your recipe to go by.... Thanks, Rosemary |

You use the tables for 100, three times the amounts. You want to end up with about 1 1/2 pound edible food per person for a large party type meal, plus desserts and beverages. For long term cooking for 300, be sure too read my article on extended planning. |
