I am having a gradulation party for 200 people. My Menu is Meatballs in Spaghetti Sauce Hot dogs w. rolls
Pasta Salad Can you tell me is I have 100 hot dogs, how many meatballs the 2 inch pre made ones, that I need? Also how much pasta, vegtables, and italian dressing I need for 200 Also, how many pounds of macaroni for macaroni salad, and how much mayonnaise On potato salad, I need to know the same, how many pounds potatos and how much mayonnaise. Thank you for any help you give. |

Kathy, there are already recipes posted on this site for quite a few potato, pasta and macaroni salads for 100 people. You basically need about 4 gallons of potato salad (starts with 35 pounds of potatoes) and 3 gallons of each of the others for each 100 people (each starts with 6-7 pounds of dry pasta). I saw that you are also doing sloppy joes. I would probably not do spaghetti and meatballs with two pasta salads and sloppy joes, what about meatball subs instead? I would probably do 100 people's worth of sloppy joes (24 pounds of burger, 2 electric roasters) PLUS 100 people's worth of meatballs, which is about 30 pounds frozen plus sauce. 100 hotdogs are a puff of wind in the face of 200 teenagers. See the sandwich event page for a complete table all about condiments (pickles, ketchup, etc) for the sandwiches. Remember, the amount is for 100- you would need to double. |
