Hi Ellen, I am thinking of throwing a picnic birthday party for my son that is turning 1. Any ideas simple but elegant dishes that I can prepare for the adults that are attending along with the regular hamburgers, hotdogs etc for the kids? it's for a party of about 25. |

Since this is really a party for grownups, you might consider a wonderful Saturday brunch- better timing for a happy kid, more elegant food which is cheaper and easier to prepare than dinner food- and then there are always mimosas... The kids love French toast sticks, egoo type waffles, etc. |
