I purchased a free standing GE electric range (with coils, not smoothtop) with a black porcelain enamel cooktop. I tried to keep it clean, but i have done a lot of cooking and it now has swirls of whitish-gray discoloration on the surface of the enamel. Is that something that can be removed? What is the best type of cleaner to use on those cooktops - the manual says to use soapy water or a mild cleanser! thanks. |

Probably not- a heat change- pull out the manual and call the service number and ask. |
