I'm making potato soup,need to know how many gallons of soup,plus how many potatoes to use.Also making chicken salad on pastry shells,how much chicken?Please help! Jennifer |

Chicken salad for receptions and sandwiches, covered at length on the sandwich event page. You want a potato soup recipe that makes 2 gallons for a 1 cup serving or 3 gallons for a 12 ounce serving per person. |

Thanks for the info,but I need to know how many potatoes to use for 2 gallons of soup?I have my own recipe just don't know how many potatoes.Thanks again |

Jennifer, I don't have your recipe, so I don't know how "potatoey" your particular recipe is- they do vary. If you have a recipe, just measure how much it makes, then multiply- if for example it takes 1 pound of potatoes to make 2 quarts, then you would need 4 pounds to make 2 gallons. |
