| Joel 12/31/07 | We have a good amount of strip steaks leftover from a party and I'm wondering what to make out of them. It was suggested beef tips.... Is that too lean of a cut for a recipe such as that? I know- why not just make steak? Well there's not enough for another steak roast and we want to stretch it for another party.... Thanks! |
| gordo 12/31/07 | How about beef stroganoff? A fajita party?--marinate and grill the meat/slice in strips, have tortillas, grilled onions, peppers, salsa etc on the side |
| ellen 01/01/08 | Beef tips are also fine, or any of the good Chinese stir fry beef dishes. Sure wish I had a problem like that, I would eat them myself and have chicken something at my next party. |
| Joel 01/01/08 | Heh, not really my problem persay. The president of our club is putting on a bunch of fund raisers- I'm just one of his cooks. So the food belongs to the club and I've been charged with finding a way to use everything up.... He wants beef tips at our next buffet and I said if those steaks would be good for it, I know where to find out. :P |
