how much corned beef will it take to feed 50 people and how do you cook it

Brisket is a fatty meat that shrinks, I allow at least 1 pound raw for each 2 people for a moderate portion. I usually cook my corned beef simmered in the oven in a roaster, or a crock pot, with some bay leaves and pickling spice, so the cooking temp stays at 300 or a bit less. Time depends on size, but can be up to 5 hours.
