Hi Ellen, Would you please look over our menu for NYE? This will be served to the homeless so I would like to have larger servings then average.
200 people
40 12" pizzas (different toppings) A small platter on every table (6-8 people) of pickles, olives, and pickled onions. Punch, pop, coffee, tea (we're used to serving 1700 cups a day so we have the beverages in hand at least!) Is that enough food or should we add more? Thanks Krista |

I should add that price is no object because we recieved a HUGE grant from a local sports team!!! Mostly, it is ensuring that it's food that our volunteers (10-15 + 5 staff) can warm up easily during the night and that 5 of us can organize in 8 hours before hand. |

Hi,
What a good project. Since there will be set tables, I might not make sandwiches ahead, but instead put bowls of the fillings and baskets of bread with condiments on each table. I would probably double the deli meats and definitely add about 25 -30 pounds of sliced cheeses. Make sure you have one of each type per person for the appetizers and the desserts. Fruit, pasta, veggies look good. Since everything is closed new years day, you might consider a pre-made take-away bag of a lunch worth of food for the next day- can of fruit, cookies, packaged cheese, maybe jerky, crackers, etc. |

Thanks Ellen. we are having a pizza company do the pizza for us so I'll ask them for squares. Good idea! |
