Hi! i have a menu that was designed and do not know how much food to buy for each item!! any suggestionsss?? heres the menu

You need to tell me if this is the only food, the length of the party, and if it is a dinner time party- see the appetizer planning discussion- it makes a HUGE difference in the amounts. |

I am going to have cheese/cracker display also. yes, this is the only food-the party is from 5 30-10 30. Thank you so much for any help!! |

OK. If everyone is staying the whole time, you need 1 1/2 pounds total for each person- at least 20 "bites" per person. A bit is a skewer of meat, 2 ounces of cheese and some crackers, 1 ham bicuit or beef bite, 2-3 meatballs depending on size, etc. Usually, the ham or beef item has 1 1/2 ounces ready to eat meat per item. At least 1 serving per person of each of the meats, 1 1/2 of the beef. 2 cheese squares. 2 ounces veggies (5 pounds total, minimum). This is a long party, don't forget coffee. |

Number of guests? You want about 8 ounces raw per person for party size portions- it cooks down to about 6 ounces per person. Minimum is 2 pounds raw for every 5 people. |
