I dont know how long to cook my 4lb Turkey brest @375degrees? The package says to cook it till its 170degrees but i do not have a thermomitor... I need an estamated or exact cooking time.. Thanks |

Your turkey breast will feed 8 people with no leftovers. Do not cook it to 170 degrees, it will be dried out. It is safe if taken out by 150-155, because it keeps cooking after it is removed from the oven. Also, I would not use 375, that is pretty hot for turkey breast. It will take 1 1/2 to 2 hours, approximately, at 325. The exact time depends on the shape of the breast and how cold it was to start with. Let me emphasize, it will be closer to the shorter time. Also, do let it stand at least 15 minutes before carving. |
