HI, my first try at planning a big event. We're having a Thanksgiving Feast for 50-60 people at my daughters school. In the Desserts for 100 section it says I should have (for 100 people) 16 x one small family desserts or 9 x two small family desserts. What does this mean? What is a "small family size"? TIA! |

A small family dessert is what a person would make for 4 to 6 people, such as a boston cream pie, an 8x8 pan of brownies or bars, one 8" pie, etc. A large family dessert is a 9x13 pan, a two layer cake, a 10" pie, something that would have a second round or leftovers for a typical family. This is a nice size group- enjoy your party. |
