My husband and I are having a hog roast this Saturday 10/20/07. He is having the hog butchered and halved. Can anyone e mail and tell me what spices and things he should use while cooking it to enhance the flavor and keep it juicy? The only recipes I can find are for a whole hog, to stuff it. Those recipes will not work for what we need. Please someone email me some help. Thanks!!!! |

There are good hog roasting sites, see the bbq and brisket page for some links. The jerk seasoning for ribs on that same page would make a fine dry rub for this pig, if you like a bit spicy. |
