Hi - I'm planning a tailgate party for my fraternity and we have a pretty large chapter. We are planning to feed 200 people. The menu will be really basic - hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken wings, potato salad, and baked beans. I was thinking 200 hot dogs and hamburgers and 60 pounds of chicken. Is that on target? How many potatoes and cans of beans? Thanks! |

I plan 1 each hot dog and hamburger and 3-4 wing pieces per person for this type party, so you are just about on target- rolls as indicated, plus the condimnets per 100 are listed on the main sandwich event page. You want 4 gallons of poato salad and 2 1/2 to 3 gallons baked beans (that is 4 #10 cans or 1 18 quart Nesco-type electric roaster) for each 100 people. 6-8 pounds chips per 100, with a couple of quarts of salsa or dip would not be a bad addition. |
