Ellen, Do you have a recipe for shredded pork meat to make in a crock pot but I would like it WITHOUT the bbq sauce? Ok here is the main question. I will have turkey and ham subs PLUS sloppy joes as the main dish but I wanted to do one more meat on the side. Do you think I should go with the pork or another beef? |

Pulled pork, as the shredded pork is called, needs some kind of sauce or gravy- see the recipe on the pulled pork and brisket thread, dated 6/14 for a great recipe. Similar, but no BBQ sauce would be Italian beef sandwiches. You don't say how many people. Either beef or pork would be fine with the other choices. |
